No time to panic!
No time for anything, really. The last week has been non-stop and there’s been literally no time to write up all the things I want to tell you. So I made a video!
HERE IS WHAT WE HAVE GOING ON IN THE POWDER ROOM
This corner looks great. You can see the gorgeous dark, moody green on the window and on the ceiling.
BUT NOT SO FAST!
We had an issue and now we are waiting for a new roll (double roll! LOL) and it’s taking FOREVER….
This faucet is so pretty though. You can see what we are replacing still on the marble sink behind it.

I have no time to do this, but I decided to paint this mirror today. There are so many nooks and crannies!
GUEST BATHROOM PROGRESS
You can find some great shower curtains that are a little more special than what you’d find in store. Here are a couple to get you started.

This is where we are at. And to think I had the photographer scheduled to arrive in two days!
EVEN OZZY THINKS THERE’S NO TIME TO SPARE.
And he might be worried about me.
And that’s about it! Do you like the video at the beginning? Should I do more of these? I know I need to plan that a little better, but I was just trying a quick, off the cuff round up. I suppose I can get better with some more effort. Or not. LOL.
PS please remember, this isn’t MY house, and I miss my old back yard and flower garden, which is probably getting pretty green right now. I have no time to put in any effort here in the rental house.
I do think that, since I made the video to right now, minutes before hitting the publish button, that I really DO have 6 weeks, I just don’t have 6 weeks if I want to get pro pics before the finale. Worst case scenario is that I can show you the 6 week reveal with video and my own photos and get my photographer in after the odds and ends get finished.

THE ORC
Overall, it’s a lot of effort but it’s a lot of fun to be a part of the One Room Challenge. If you don’t know what the whole One Room Challenge is all about, aka the ORC, click HERE.
There are a lot of amazing rooms being done. HUNDREDS, actually! There are twenty featured participants that are doing some fantastic things right now. I’m hoping that with all of your support with comments, shares, and “likes” on my instagram, the ORC hosts and Better Homes and Gardens might tap me to be a featured participant in the next challenges.
Christine, it was so nice to take a break from my ORC panic and listen to you with a glass of wine. Love the video!! And girl, you have to remember, you’re not just doing ONE room, you’re doing THREE!!! It will all work out and your own photos will be fine for next week.
Hang in there and be sure to take care of you!! I didn’t do such a hot job in that dept. I twisted my ankle yesterday…ugh…definitely slows the project down.

This totally reminds me of my ORC room. One wall is still without wallpaper. Things are coming along. Can’t wait to see it all finished

I love Ozzy. He is almost as pretty as the wallpaper in that bathroom, but both of them are no match for how pretty YOU are in that video.
And the wine… I can only imagine how it might be needed to calm down your nerves trying to get THREE bathrooms done for the #OneRoomChallenge!
No matter if they get done or not for the pro photos, Christine, at least you’ve tried and it’s been really instructive, I think, because it shows everyone that no matter how carefully you plan for *things to be done on time* – s*** happens over which you have no control !
