Studio S Goes Dark

American Standard Studio S matte black and gold #blogtourkbis #designhounds

The Designhounds met with our sponsors LIXIL, the parent company of American Standard, DXV, and Grohe at their amazing booth at KBIS in Orlando earlier this month and they showed us some amazing new products, finishes and luxury features across all of the brands that will be rolling out this year. One that I thought was good to share with you is their Studio S line’s new finishes.

Do you like the knob style or the lever style?

New this year, and not even on their website yet, are the new black finishes. The black color is super hot, with the choice of polished or matte finish.

What do you think of the mixed metals on these handles? Do you like the silver or gold with the black? My clients know I like to mix metals, from kitchen lights to cabinet handles, from chandeliers to lamps and accessories, including jewelry. Are you the type that would? (If not, we should chat.)

Sometimes other brands don’t make all of the fixtures available in the new colors they put out, but American Standard is going to bring these colors throughout all the different bath fixtures in the series, so you can be sure that the shower head and the faucets match when remodeling your bathroom.

New from American Standard, the Studio S shower system showcases a luxurious 8-inch showerhead and sleek, contemporary design lines on the diverter and tub spout, bringing a sense of urban style to the bathroom.

The high arch faucet is my favorite but there is a nice single hole faucet available as well.

The Studio S look is simple, sleek, and clean. The new black in both polished and matte are sharp. The options to add a contrasting metal, either gold or silver, adds more of a custom look to your bathroom.

And of course, American Standard is a brand that has been around for a long time, providing people with toilets, tubs, sinks, faucets, fixtures and accessories for nearly 140 years.

There are so many cool products I want to share, which I will break out into separate posts. Stay tuned!

The black taps are the business, definitely. You managed some great photography on their stand. I couldn’t get shot for the number of elbows and bodies in the way. Fab post

very nice taps – with the black and white bathroom trend being in full swing these have come at just the right time!

Black and brass together. Two trends in one! This is such a gorgeous range for the bathroom.

Ooo, these taps are just our style – love the black and brass combination. And that 8-inch showerhead looks divine.

Beautiful designs, I absolutely adores the mixed metals, I’ve been loving this for a little while now.
