When New Providence, NJ, resident Christine Kohut was selected to be a contestant in one of Nate’s famous design challenges, she never dreamed she would be driving home in a new 2012 Fiat 500!
Claiming she has a “great eye for design and would love to take Nate up on his challenge,” Kohut competed in the “Cash Challenge Hour” episode on ‘The Nate Berkus Show,’ which airs on Thurs., Dec. 15, 2011 (check local listings). Click HERE to see more.
Kohut put her design and speed skills to the test when she was tasked to complete a challenge in under an hour, using no more than $150 and driving a Fiat 500 to gather materials.
Kohut searched through several New York City home design stores in order to find the perfect, inexpensive yet decorative pieces to spice up the room, fitting all of her new accessories in the spacious trunk of the Fiat 500. Arriving back to the set just in time, Kohut impressed Nate with her keen eye for style, successfully completing the design challenge. In return, Nate surprised Kohut with a new 2012 Fiat 500 – proving lifeisbest when driven.
“Being a designer, the car I drive is a big reflection of my personal style,” said Kohut. “I am so excited to be the proud new owner of a stylish Fiat 500, a car I will definitely get noticed in!”
Kohut works as an interior designer and blogger.
